General Description
Scolymia, also known as Button Corals, are highly desired LPS corals that serve as striking centerpieces in reef tanks. These corals exhibit a wide range of vibrant colors, making them a popular choice among enthusiasts.
Demands and Hardiness
Scolymia thrives in low to moderate lighting conditions and requires low to medium water flow. They are best fed with medium to large-sized pellets, Mysis, and Krill, which provide essential nutrients for their zooxanthellae. These corals originate from the Indo-Pacific region and Australia, showcasing a remarkable hardiness in the right conditions.
