| Care Description | Zoanthus and Palythoa are a large group of corals in the reef keeping hobby. They come in an incredible range of colors and patterns making them very popular with both beginner hobbyists and rare coral collectors tracking down uncommon color morphs. In terms of care, both Zoanthus and Palythoa are fairly easy to keep. They tolerate a wide range of lighting intensities and water conditions. Once settled in, zoas multiply quickly. General Description

Demands and Hardiness
These corals are known for their adaptability to a variety of lighting intensities and water conditions, making them relatively easy to maintain in a reef aquarium setup. Zoanthus and Palythoa multiply rapidly once they have acclimated to their environment.
Lighting
Zoanthus and Palythoa are not particularly demanding when it comes to lighting. They can thrive under a broad spectrum of light types, from low to high intensities. However, it is advisable to acclimate these corals to lower light levels initially to prevent damage from overexposure.
Water Flow
Moderate water flow is recommended for Zoanthus and Palythoa corals to prevent detritus buildup, which can impede growth or lead to decline. Strong and consistent water flow, supplemented by occasional bursts of higher flow, helps to keep the colony clean and flush away waste.
Feeding
