General Description
Aphyosemion Bochtleri, a species within the Cyprinodontiformes order under the family Nothobranchiidae, was initially considered synonymous with A. herzogi Radda 1975 but is now recognized as a distinct species. It has a maximum size of 5.0cm and is described as having a wider distribution in the upper Ivindo River basin, a tributary of the larger Ogooué system, originating from a rainforest stream near the settlement of Mintoum in northern Gabon.

Behaviour

Feeding and Diet

The natural habitat of Aphyosemion Bochtleri includes rainforest streams near settlements in northern Gabon, specifically near Mintoum. They are also found in the upper Ivindo River basin, which is a tributary of the Ogooué system. These habitats are characterized by lush vegetation and slow-moving or stagnant water where these fish thrive.
