General Description
Aspidoras Spilotus, commonly known as C125, is a peaceful and sociable fish belonging to the Callichthyidae family under the order Siluriformes. These fish reach a maximum size of 4.5cm and are often found in coastal river drainages in Ceará state, Brazil. The species is recognized by its shield-like bony plates on the flanks, hence the etymology of the genus name "Aspidoras."
