General Description
The Corydoras Atropersonatus, commonly known as Fairy Cory, belongs to the Callichthyidae family within the Siluriformes order. These fish are part of the armored catfish group, characterized by bony plates instead of scales on their bodies. They are peaceful and gregarious creatures that are often kept in groups of at least 4-6 individuals. This species is an omnivore that forages on sinking dried foods, along with small live and frozen varieties like bloodworms and Tubifex.

Habitat and Distribution
