General Description: Corydoras lacrimostigmata belongs to the Callichthyidae family, characterized by its armored body with bony plates instead of scales. This species, with an average size of 3.4 cm, is identifiable by features such as nasal pores and small black blotches along its flanks. The taxonomy of Corydoras is intricate, with over 150 recognized species, and new ones are continuously being discovered.
