General Description
Crinum calamistratum, also known as Crinum calamistratum Bogner & Heine, is a plant belonging to the Amaryllidaceae family. It is native to West Cameroon, near Kumba, and falls under the major group of seed plants, specifically flowering plants (Angiosperms).

This aquatic plant is considered easy to care for and is frequently available commercially for aquarium enthusiasts. With its medium-high light requirements and preference for carbon dioxide levels ranging from 10-40mg/l, C. calamistratum thrives in aquarium setups with a pH value between 5.5-8 and a temperature of 23-26°C.
