General Description

Vesicularia cf. montagnei "Krabi" is a moss species belonging to the Hypnaceae family, discovered in the calcareous lakes near Krabi, Thailand. Initially thought to be related to Vesicularia montagnei, its exact species remains unidentified. The moss closely resembles Vesicularia sp. "Mini Christmas Moss" but has stiffer shoots. Its dense, delicately branched shoots firmly attach to rocks and driftwood with rhizoids.

Aquarium Suitability

This moss is suitable for aquariums, especially in hardwater tanks due to its origin from a high carbonate hardness lake in Thailand. It is marked as an easy plant to care for in aquariums, with a slow growth rate.
