Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata "Araguaia" is a local form of the whorly-leaved Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata that hails from the Rio Araguaia in eastern Brazil. Resembling the popular Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata "Cuba," this variant features predominantly green tones, narrower underwater leaves, and a reduced tendency to form lateral shoots. Known to have similar demands as the "Cuba" variant, Araguaia is more recognized among hobbyists in the USA than in Europe.
