General Description:The Yellowfin Tang, also known as Yellowfin Surgeonfish or Yellow-mask Surgeon, is a fish species belonging to the Acanthuridae family. It can grow up to 50cm in size and is native to the waters of the Indo-Pacific region, including areas from the coast of East Africa to the Hawaiian Islands and French Polynesia.

It is crucial to provide a tank with a minimum size of 1800 liters and ensure a well-established environment with plenty of space for swimming. The fish can be aggressive towards similar species, requiring caution when housed together.
Demands, Care, and Hardiness:The Yellowfin Tang places high demands on tank size, water quality, and surroundings compared to other fish species. It thrives in an aquarium with ample space and hiding places, especially when newly introduced. Being delicate, the fish is sensitive during transportation and requires a consistent algae-based diet for optimal health.
