General Description
The Stonogobiops nematodes, commonly known as Filament-finned prawn-goby or Black-rayed shrimp-goby, belongs to the Gobiidae family. These small fish, native to the Indo-West Pacific regions like Seychelles, the Philippines, and Bali, Indonesia, prefer living close to the bottom of the water.
Aquarium Suitability
Considered suitable for most aquarium setups, these fish are hardy but may require specific conditions. They can be housed in smaller tanks if equipped to meet their needs; however, it's recommended to provide a larger aquarium to ensure their well-being. Known to be shy and docile, they should not be housed with more aggressive fish.
