General Description:The Lemonfish, scientifically known as Plectorhinchus flavomaculatus, belongs to the Haemulidae family and can grow up to 60.0cm in size. This species is commonly referred to as Lemon sweetlips, Lemonfish, Gold-spotted sweetlips, Goldspotted sweetlips, and Netted sweetlips.
Aquarium Suitability:Due to its size and demanding nature, the Lemonfish requires a very large tank with a minimum size of 2000 liters when fully grown. It grows rapidly when provided with ample food, preferring a diet that includes fish, larger crustaceans, other invertebrates, and small crustaceans like krill, mysis, and artemia.
