General Description:
The Yellowtail Sergeant, scientifically known as Abudefduf notatus, is a species of fish belonging to the Pomacentridae family. These fish are part of the Abudefduf genus, also known as Sergeant Major fish, and are recognized for their tendency to exhibit aggressive behavior, particularly as they grow larger compared to other fish in the family.

The Yellowtail Sergeant is classified as suitable for aquarium keeping with caution due to its aggressive nature towards other fish species. When housed with more peaceful or docile species, extra care should be taken.
