General Description

The Speckled Damselfish (Pomacentrus bankanensis) is a marine fish that displays vibrant coloration as a juvenile, transitioning to a more subdued appearance as it matures. As a juvenile, it showcases a brown body with striking orange hues above its midline, complemented by bright blue horizontal lines extending from its head to the back of its dorsal fin. The anal and pelvic fins also boast a vibrant blue outline, while its caudal fin is entirely white. Upon reaching adulthood, the Speckled Damselfish typically sports an overall brown hue with some white accents on its fins.
