The Campfire Feather Duster, also known as the Giant Feather Duster, boasts a stunning fan-shaped crown (radiole) that showcases beautiful shades of red, purple, and yellow, with some species exhibiting crowns up to 7 inches in diameter. This creature uses its radiole to filter small floating organisms, guiding them towards its central mouth. To shield its segmented body, the Feather Duster secretes a protective parchment-like tube, retracting its radiole into the tube when disturbed, and shedding its crown if severely stressed, regenerating it later.
