| ケアの説明 | Acropora are the crown jewel of the SPS world. No other genus has the sheer number of species as Acropora and when reef aquarists talk about the requirements to keep an SPS system, they are talking specifically about the care requirements of Acropora. Having said that, Acropora are one of the most difficult corals to keep. They are highly sensitive to changes in water chemistry and require the most in terms of flow and light. Many experienced hobbyists have struggled keeping Acropora long term, but that is part of the attraction to this coral. Lastly, Acropora benefit greatly from a well established aquarium, preferably one that has been set up at least for 1 year. Please see below for additional care tips for Acropora. |

一般的な説明
AcroporaはSPS世界の宝石です。他のどの属もAcroporaほどの種の数を持っておらず、サンゴ礁の愛好家がSPSシステムを維持する際に話す内容は、特にAcroporaの飼育要件についてです。とは言っても、Acroporaは非常に育てにくいサンゴの1つです。水質の変化に非常に敏感で、流れや光に関しては最も多くの要求があります。多くの経験豊富なホビイストがAcroporaを長期間維持するのに苦労してきましたが、それがこのサンゴに魅力を感じる一因です。ついに、Acroporaはよく育てられた水族館で大きな恩恵を受けます。1年以上設置された水槽が理想的です。
デマンドと耐久性
この素晴らしいAcroporaは、蛍光ペンのような緑色のベースを持ち、黄色い先端を発達させます。この滑らかな皮膚のバラエティは非常に頑丈で成長も速いです。フラグメントの大きさはおおよそ1インチ以上です。餌は液体や粉末の食品のみ適しており、このサンゴは最も小さなプランクトン（20μm～1mmの粒子）で養分を補給します。他のサンゴ同様、Acroporaは主にゾオキサンテラの生成物に依存していますが、直接の給餌も有益であることが経験的にわかっています。
照明
この種には強い照明が適しています。Acroporaは高出力フローセント電球（T5）の下に置くことができますが、より強い光源であるメタルハライド（MH）などからの光を受けることが有益です。与えられた照明に応じて色調が変わる可能性があります。メタルハライドなどの強い光に適応するには、長い馴化期間が必要です。Acroporaは水槽の状態、特に照明によって劇的な色調の変化で悪名高いです。Acroporaの一部の色が完全に変わることもあります。例えば、赤い部分が緑色に変わることもあります。
